Music
Through a varied, demanding, and stimulating curriculum designed to promote a lifelong appreciation and love of music at all levels, our main goal in the music department is to assist and encourage students on their path of musical study. By covering a variety of Western and international music subjects, we aim to maximise students’ cultural exposure. Our department wants to reach everyone, including SEND students, regardless of background or prior musical experience since we think that music should be accessible to everyone. Through a practical curriculum and an exciting developing extracurricular program that offers development and application of musical terminology, the music department aims to assist students in developing their musical talents and abilities. Students are urged to take advantage of more opportunities to further develop their skills as the curriculum gets increasingly more challenging.
